Klyvo Play is an IPTV player for iPhone and iPad built around your own Xtream-compatible service: live channels, films and series in one clean library, with a player designed for touch. Here is how to set it up and get the most out of it in a few minutes.
Klyvo Play is a player. It does not provide any channel, film or series: you connect the Xtream-compatible service you already use and are authorized to use.
1. Install Klyvo Play from the App Store
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for Klyvo Play and install it. The same app runs on Apple TV — see our Apple TV guide — and every platform is listed on the download page.
2. Device codes and your source
The first screen shows the device's MAC Address and Device Key. Long-press a code to copy it — handy to send it to your provider, who can attach your playlist to these two codes. Otherwise, connect your source yourself under Connect your source:
- Xtream tab: Server URL, Username and Password from your service, then Connect.
- M3U link tab: paste the full link your provider gave you.
Your credentials are encrypted and tied to the device. Not sure which details you have? See Xtream login or M3U link. To add more sources later, open Settings (from your avatar), then My playlists → Add a playlist.
3. Portrait, landscape and the mini-player
- On iPhone, you browse the app upright, and the player switches to landscape when it opens full screen.
- Back in the player does not stop the channel: it shrinks into a mini-player in the corner that keeps playing while you browse. Tap it to go back to full screen, or ✕ to close it.
- On iPad, the whole interface follows the way you hold the tablet, in portrait or landscape.
4. Player gestures on iPhone and iPad
- Pinch the picture with two fingers to switch the Picture format between Fit and Fill screen — a short notice confirms the choice. The same switch is a key in the top bar.
- In films and episodes, double-tap the left or right side of the screen to go back or forward 10 seconds.
- A single tap shows or hides the controls.
- The playback settings give access to audio and subtitles and, in films and series, Speed (from 0.5× to 2×) and a Sleep timer.
- Series offer Skip intro and Next episode when the information is available.
5. Make the most of the big screen of an iPad
The iPad is a great second screen for live TV. Try watching two live channels at once with Multi-Live, and set up a Kids profile if the tablet is shared with the family.
6. 10 days free, then one subscription
