Live football scores in a TV app: from score to channel

A rail of live football scores on the home screen, the matches kicking off soon, and — when your playlist carries it — the channel one tap away.

Checking live football scores on your phone while the TV shows something else is a familiar routine. In Klyvo Play, the scores come to the TV app itself: a Live matches rail on the Home screen lists the games being played right now and those about to start — and when the app finds the right channel in your own playlist, one tap takes you to the match.

Klyvo Play is a player. It does not provide any channel, film or series: you connect the service you already use and are authorized to use. The scores are information only; the picture always comes from your own source.

Live football scores on the Home screen

Once your own source is connected, the rail appears near the top of Home. Each card shows the two teams and the competition, then:

  • For a match on now: the score and the minute, HT at half-time, and a clear status if a match is interrupted.
  • For a match kicking off within about two hours: the kick-off time and a countdown (“In 45 min”).
  • Ten cards at most: the live matches first, then the upcoming ones. A finished match leaves the rail on its own.

The rail is refreshed every 30 seconds while Home is on screen and the app is in the foreground — and only then. When no match is on and none is about to start, there is simply no rail: Home stays clean.

Which live matches come first

There are far more matches than a rail can hold, so Klyvo Play sorts them for you. It keeps the matches linked to the countries you chose in the app, and the matches it can actually find on your line. Among those, a match whose channel was found comes before one that cannot be watched here.

From the score to the channel in your playlist

Here is what happens behind a card. The scores and the names of the channels that broadcast each match come from the Klyvo Play server — a name, never a picture. On your device, the app then looks for that channel in your own playlist. The surest sign is your playlist's own TV guide: a sport channel whose programme at kick-off names both teams. Read more about guides in TV guide (EPG).

  • Watch on … — the channel was found: a tap opens it directly in the player.
  • Probably on … / Choose · … — your guide does not say which of the broadcaster's channels shows the match: a tap opens the match sheet with the possible channels, and you pick.
  • No channel shown — a tap opens the match details only.

Only channels from the countries you chose are offered, so a card never sends you to a foreign feed you did not ask for.

If your playlist does not carry the channel that broadcasts a match, Klyvo Play cannot show it: the score is still there, but no channel is offered. The app never supplies a stream.

Match details and the Sport hub

A long press on any card opens Match details: Where to watch, with every channel found on your line, and Match facts, with the events of the game such as goals and cards. For the full picture, the Sport tile — “Scores & fixtures” — opens the hub with three tabs:

  • Live: every match being played now.
  • Upcoming: the fixtures of the next 14 days.
  • Results: the final scores of the last 48 hours.

Try it before you connect a source

In Explore the demo, the rail is called Live scores and shows invented clubs on the demo's sample channels — a way to see how it feels. Real matches only appear once your own source is connected. Everything else the app does is on the features page.

FAQ

Does Klyvo Play show every football match? It shows the live matches and fixtures its server knows, sorted by your countries and by what can be found on your line. Whether you can watch a match depends entirely on your playlist.

Why does a card say “Probably on…”? Because your TV guide does not say which channel shows the match. The app lists the likely channels of the broadcaster on your line and lets you choose.

Is it only football? Yes. Today, scores and fixtures cover football. The rest of the app — live channels, films, series — works with whatever your source provides; see player or provider for who supplies what.
