TV guide (EPG): show the real programme of your channels

“No information” under a channel? The TV guide comes from your source. Here is how it works, and how an EPG link (XMLTV) fills the gaps.

Seeing what's on now, what comes next and the evening's programme is what turns a list of channels into real television. That's the job of the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) — and in Klyvo Play, of the TV Guide and the programme shown under each live channel.

Where the programme comes from

Klyvo Play never invents a programme: it shows the one your source provides. Many Xtream-compatible services send a short guide with their channels. When a channel shows No information, your source simply sends no guide for it.

The EPG link (XMLTV)

Many services also offer a full guide as an XMLTV link (often ending in xmltv.php). Optional but recommended: once this link is added to your playlist, Klyvo Play reads it and shows the real programme of your channels — in the Live section, the TV Guide and on each channel.

How to add it

Ask your service for the link: it can't always be deduced from an M3U link. The programme appears within minutes.

Replay

When your source keeps an archive of a channel, the guide also lets you go back and watch a programme that has already aired, with Replay.
